Last night, a group of my favorite lady friends got together to celebrate the upcoming holidays. After an early supper at Moeders, we hit the town for drinks, dancing, and late night debauchery. It was marvelous fun, but today my head is suffering. I really can’t be bothered to function, and have been snuggled in a fluffy blanket on the couch all afternoon, mindlessly devouring the internet.
During my internet digging, I noticed that a lot of bloggers are pulling together holiday gift-list ideas. “Things To Buy For The Fashionista!” “Great Gifts For Globe Trotters!” “101 Present Ideas For Your Man!” As I’m way too lazy to do any real thinking today, I thought it would be fun to be super selfish and share the things on my Christmas wish list. Maybe it will help inspire you, or maybe it will just help inspire B ;) Either way, here is a list of pressies I would love to find under the tree this year.
Jerusalem Cookbook
This cookbook will feed your eyes, soul and stomach. With culinary influences from Muslim, Jewish, Arab, Christian and Armenian communities and with a Mediterranean climate, the range of ingredients and styles is stunning.
Melissa Logo Frye Boots
I want these boots more than words can say, and I have been coveting them for months. Really crossing my fingers on a Christmas bonus this year, as they may be a bit too pricy for Santa!! I may have to gift them to myself ;)
Anastasia All In One Brow Kit
When I turned 26, I made two promises to myself. One: I would wear heels more often. Two: I would take better care of my eyebrows. This is the ultimate brow kit. It’s a bit pricy at $85, but the kit includes brow powder, tweezers, five stencils, a mini brush, clear brow gel, a matte highlighter, and after tweeze cream. Literally everything you will ever need for brow perfection!
Zatchels Classic Brown Saddle Bag
This bag is adorable, and looks to be the perfect length and style for zooming around Amsterdam on my bike.
Balenciaga Sunglasses
It’s not quite summertime, but I’m always thinking about shades – and these ones are super stylish. I’m currently lusting after vintage-Hollywood inspired clothing, and these fit the bill perfectly. Again, a bit more pricy, but SO worth the splurge!
Ell & Cee Sorbet Robe
This robe is pure decadence. I shower at night and love to laze around for an hour or two before going to bed, so I can totally justify spending $100 on a sexy goddess robe, as I would wear it all the time!!
Hedgehog Measuring Cups
These little guys are adorable and would bring a smile to anyone who enjoys spending time in the kitchen. The only thing better than cooking, is cooking with cute little hedgehog buddies! You can find them at Anthro (and honestly, anything from here is a win on my Christmas list!)
Revival DAB Radio
Very rarely do I have a tech craving, but this is so sexy I had to put it on my Christmas wish-list!
Leather Laptop Backpack
OK, so this is way more than I would ever spend on a backpack, as it will undoubtedly get thrown around, rained on, and totally trashed on my bike to and from work every day, but holy hell it’s hot! If you’re going to look sexy and wear a backpack, this is it.
Kate Spade Pendant
I’m really trying to build up my ‘nice’ jewelry collection. This simple pendant would be a stunning addition.
Succulent Tealights
These little succulent tealight candles are adorable, and would brighten up any space. They’re also a steal at $15!
Happy Camper Sweatshirt
This sweatshirt looks so snuggly and cozy, and it’s just dressy enough to pull off in the office with a cute pair of skinny jeans and heels (definitely thinking red).
Copper Graters
As you’ve seen with the hedgehog teacups, I’m crushing on animals in the kitchen. These Japanese graters are vintage and cute.
Paul & Joe Lipstick
Stocking stuffer alert! This lipstick looks great on AND the packaging rocks.
I’m realizing that my Christmas wish-list is quite extensive!! I could go on, but my brain is slowly turning into a puddle of mush. It’s time for Tylenol round two and a BIG glass of juice. Happy shopping! x
A fine list indeed, the robe is beautiful.

Started down the list and got major detoured by the Frye boots–spent about 1/2 hour on their website before returning here! Had a pair of Frye western tall boots back in the 70’s some time, and now have had what I call (I don’t know what they call them) short “engineer boots” with the harness decor for probably a dozen years now. They don’t wear out.
Thanks for your “like” on my blog…hope you got some of those things on your list!
