This morning when I woke up, it was quiet. There were no birds chirping, no automobiles passing by. I leaned out of bed and slowly pulled up the shade. Revealed was a sill piled high with white snow. Packed in and cozy, B and I had a lazy brunch before venturing outside to snap the snow.
As the morning went on, the snow continued to fall, until we were completely buried.
We wore slippers all day, playing Mario Kart and drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows. Who says big kids can’t have snow days?!
