After three weeks of family, fun, and adventures, it was time to travel back to Amsterdam and resume Dutch life. I said goodbye to Mom, Dad, and my sweet sisters. Our last stop was the sea. I miss living along the shore, going for walks on the beach whenever my soul needs a break, watching the gulls fly and the waves break. I wanted to say goodbye to the sandy coast, the one peaceful place I assumed would always be mine. If you have one, do not take your beautiful beach for granted.
We strolled around a bit and said our farewell to the sea. I left a message in the snow, a little promise that we would be back again!
And B decided to have a bit more fun before we left!
I tried the same, but my jump was a fail and I plowed right into the bank. And so we got back into the truck, hiked up the heat, and emptied the snow out of our boots. A very suiting goodbye.
Cheers Maine, catch you next time! x
Better than a face plant! Have a nice flight back. :)

These pictures are beautiful. I usually don’t see beach pictures in the winter. Thanks for sharing.
